The assumption being made here is that the shooter did what he did due to political rhetoric which, so far anyway, is not known.

Even if it turns out to be the case, this rush to pin blame WITHOUT evidence is shameful and just adds to the problem.

This isn't a gotcha. I just feel like you've done the opposite a fair number of times. Would you Estimate your percent confidence in not finding a post where you "rushed to pin blame without evidence"?
