The current Libertarian party candidate comes across to me more as a far left leaning progressive than centrist libertarian. Cookie cutter labels don’t really seem that work anymore except at the extremesBB85 is correct for once. Tulsi Gabbard backed Bernie Sanders. Why so many of you self-described libertarians seem to be infatuated with her, I will never understand. She is a disaster.
She also touted the Bernie Sanders messaging of "income inequality" in 2016 ..... It wasn't just foreign policy that she cited for her support of Sanders. You are straining here. She was a very vocal supporter of his campaign.you can't separate Hillary from foreign intervention and big money interests driving policy. I guess she could have punted on picking one but given her foreign policy views Bernie was a much, much better fit
Negligent & Indifferent are very similar.I kinda lump that into willful neglience...
Oh damn. I hadn’t even thought of that. The real conspiracy here is that @hog88 worked the back channels to get turbo banned so he can welch on his bet when Michelle Obama isn't the nominee. This type of political forum corruption is blatantly unconstitutional.
Supports long rifle bans, green new deal, free college for households earning less than $125 k, anti nuclear power. I respect her honesty. Not her politics. Even though I agree with a lot of her foreign policy stuffall candidates are compromises - she certainly speaks against foreign intervention (libertarian consistent) and government restriction of individual freedoms (see Covid response and speech issues) and for judicial reform including decriminilzation of many drugs). All these are consistent with libertarian positions.
on the counter, she seems to support single payer healthcare systems (not a libertarian consistent position) and some worker protections at the Federal level (not a libertarian consistent position).
