Security lapse is real. Needs to be a better understanding of overlap between local law enforcement and SS and in particular they should not be putting folks on stage when there is a person out there noticed to be acting strangely, until that is resolved.

The song Family Snapshot by Peter Gabriel comes to mind - inspired by the book about the guy who tried to kill George Wallace. Guy wanted fame. It's worth a listen but pretty haunting -- I'll wait a few days before I listen.

2 - The shooter made it to the roof with a full rifle kit as TWO witness's saw him and say they were telling authorities and screaming about him for an estimates 3 - 4 min - BBC

3 - A standard sniper-spotter team tasked with covering such a critical direction waits an estimated 42 seconds after looking directly at the shooter, allowing him to take 5 shots at Trump - Video From Event x.com

4 - The secret service decides its ok to keep Trump on stage for an extended period of time where he's able to face and actually address the crowd with an active shooter - Video From Event

5 - The secret service didn't think of securing the high point and advantage area over the event...

What do you call it? Multiple failures on multiple levels? It's the video of the LEO watching the perp. squeeze of shot after shot. I heard that Trump moved his head toward the mic to speak just before the shot. That explains the ear. It's sheer luck (or Gods grace) that Trump is still alive. I would be curious if the FBI will investigate the high school this nut went to. Somebody put this idea in his head and encouraged it to grow. We need to know who. Then take action.

After 2016, the mood from the Left turned increasingly darker. There were frequent posts made wishing that someone would "off" the President..and those sentiments came from people claiming to in professions such as law, medicine, and education.
