No way this guy selected as an assassin, this was an emotionally disturbed person who likely lived on the fringes of society and struggled with interpersonal relationships. Nothing about this guy points to him being selected and groomed for a job like this.

Pretty much. The most damaging part is even if they messed up everything, just getting Trump off stage when they lost control would have basically eliminated large scale problems.

I assume for discussion, they couldn't actually secure that rooftop, but I have no idea if they could or not. (trying to give them the benefit of doubt on that)

People would argue he's the perfect patsy, just like Oswald was. I'm not saying that's the case, but for those inclined to believe conspiracy theories, he's someone no one would ever suspect to be anything other than a nutjob. And now he's dead.

Like it or not, events like this provoke a lot of conspiracy theories. I'm sure we'll see many, from some that seem possible to ones that are just really out there.

Just a PR show. A whistleblower had pointed out the lax working conditions there repeatedly. And all they did was discredit the guy. Until proof of what he'd been saying along started emerging. The firing of the CEO a PR stunt called, "Covering azz with both hands and all four feet."

I guess you can’t figure out on your own, shots were fired which made him fall. They didn’t report the assassination attempt til later.

Or, it is what it appeared to be, which is a disturbed young man, upset about who knows what. Maybe wanting to get noticed.

Security lapse is real. Needs to be a better understanding of overlap between local law enforcement and SS and in particular they should not be putting folks on stage when there is a person out there noticed to be acting strangely, until that is resolved.
