It’s not uncommon for liberals to register as republicans so they can vote against a candidate they don’t like in the primaries. I remember that happening here in Knox County a few years ago for some school board candidates. They voted in the primaries to keep a lady (Sherri Garrett I think) from being the republican choice in order to get Steve Tripplet as the official Republican candidate because they thought he’d lose once it came out that he had stolen from a private school. The liberals were openly bragging about it.

Well I was being sarcastic about Trump voters but I agree there’s nut jobs on all sides and it seems like across our country nut jobs are feeling more comfortable with acting in their craziness. People care less and less about each other every day. Of course it’s easier to escalate situations and blow things out of proportion when everyone is interacting with each other online rather than in person. In person you to get to know people and see that even if they disagree they’re still a good person. Online you have far less cues into who people are and people have little to no accountability for what is said. We also seem to be struggling as a country with how to deal with anger. Perhaps young men spend far too much time on their couches and not releasing that built up testosterone through physical exercise, movement, sex or whatever. There’s no outlet if all you do is binge watch TV and play video games all day.

Can't argue with the truth. Got to also say, I don't cotton to the excuses for contemporary social behavior either. We're beings who DO know right from wrong. Which we choose to act upon is a willful choice, premeditated as it were. School teachers, cops, politicians, employees, doctors, the whole spectrum of society has cast aside integrity, dignity, empathy etc. Indeed, the games sold to kids, with parental consent, entertainment media meant for kids,,even clothing sold for little girls not even teens yet, all reflect the deteriorating state of mind of society. I know some here detest me referring to people being increasingly stupid, but I know what I see. So do scientists. And I think a survey that was done a while back. We're seeing actual cases of dumb and dumber. So, no wonder the senselessness of our present age is increasing. Even old time TV shows made you THINK. Perry Mason courtroom Who Done It dramas for example. Hard to find such cerebral challenges these days. It's mainly about mindless Boom, BRRRRRT, RATTTTAAAT, PaaaPOOM, blood and guts. Amplified by the video/digital games both government and parents encourage kids to play.

This guy, Rep. Mike Collins, was also delighted by the Supreme Court's immunity ruling, because it could prove to be of benefit to Trump.

It begs a serious question here :

Do Republicans think that immunity will only apply to Republican Presidents?

The court ruled that certain core Presidential duties are completely protected, while other so-called official acts are presumed to be subject to immunity too. Only unofficial acts are not subject to any immunity. In the aftermath of that ruling, I don't see how one can argue that Biden can be prosecuted .... and you only have the conservative Supreme Court Justices to blame for that.
