I knew there was gonna be an issue with this garage wall as it was below grade. Developed a plan and started demolition this week.
@Orangeslice13 is this the proper way to stop water from cooling under the wall? Lolol

Apparently, the folks prior to me thought it was correct. Even the inspection team missed this. No problem tho, I got this.

Next step is pulling down the siding and finish demolition.

Not sure the spray foam will do anything for you. The goal is to get the water before it gets to the house. It appears the you’re going with a French drain which is perfect. I can’t tell from the picture but I’d like to see it in set at the bottom of a grade away from the house. Also the gutters will critical in keeping water off of you.

Doesn’t really help unless you’ve got some sort of guttering system at the base of the wall that feeds to a sup-pump.

Some one put a drain pipe down that led to no where. It was funny. All I can do is laugh at the situation and then fix it. When I'm done, this will be a well drained area.

This looks great! I love the angles and the different colors of brick.

I have just spent Quite The Day trying to find a specific garden tool to weed between bricks, describing it *waves hands* as like a hoof pick for a horse, if you had a horse.

It occurs to me now that probably what I used in the past was, in fact, a hoof pick.

I now own a Huskey multi-purpose garden knife. We shall see. Although it does have an impressive number and variety of sharpened edges.

(This brick patio is at church, as I am not masochistic enough to have a dry-laid brick patio, as lovely as they are.)

Get you one of these, a gas powered seam in between brick grass, roots, gravels and so on and remover.
