Whoever it was that mentioned how big KTs HR was...I absolutely agree...Arnold was CRUISING at that point, and Ensley with his mashed line drive single and then KT with his murdered line drive HR..they both absolutely mauled him.

Those two hits were huge in shifting some mo back our way.

Did any of you ever live without air conditioning?

I lived on a rural road in Mississippi. Most of the houses along the 5 mile stretch had no AC or heat. Mine was one of the few. They left doors and windows open most of the year. I don't know how they do it in those summers.

In the winter idk what they do. Not all the houses had fireplaces. Usually between 35-55 but we had that big storm in 2021 when it went to -10.

There was another collection of mobile homes along my research route that had cinder blocks and stacked pavers running from the front door to the road. The road was elevated on a berm. Because in the winter and spring, the water level came up to the threshold of the doors of the houses and they'd hopscotch their way to their cars on the side of the road over 3-4' of water.

Yep. Burke is a name that was mentioned. That has been a sore spot going all the way back to after Stargell retired. Lot of has beens and hope to bes ever since. Would love to get a league average guy at this point.

“Vacation” was if a relative in Texas passed away. Loved staying at my uncles house. They kept it about 68-70 degrees in their house which was amazing to me. I would sleep on the couch under one of the window units.
