That was the gorilla bat era…. They never thought anyone would come close with all the bat changes….. What Tennessee has done is impressive.

Extremely...I don't think many people realize the bat change...this team may already have 190 if they were let use those bats...or you could say that LSU would have hit a lot less if using the modern regulation bats.

Either way..I believe this team is the best HR hitting team ever.

I think that Burke strike/no strike call was one of those calls that it would have been called a strike if it wouldn’t have ended the game. I feel like based on the situation of the game they gave him the benefit of the doubt, if the count wasn’t 2-2, or if it wasnt in the 9th with 2 outs I think it would have been a strike

Yep. It was probably a strike. But there were some other awful calls against us that game. Thankfully the ump swallowed his whistle and didn't let the game end on basically a 50/50 call.

I think there are 3-4 mistakes per game….. people just remember the ones in big moments and especially ones in big moments. I have so many snap shots and slow motion replays to last a lifetime…. Fans are really good at calling games from their couch utilizing these techniques. It’s a lot harder making these calls at full speed.

It was a strike but I don’t care…. Florida State had numerous opportunities to make a play and didn’t…. They need to stop crying…. Go Vols…. Let’s go Vols….win this d&mn thing!!!

I can say it wasn't a strike with equal conviction....it was close either way.
