War in Ukraine

Men would live in a brier patch if it put them in close proximity to food and sex. And you know he is married to a spicy latina so he must be where she dictates.

Unlike our relationship with Ukraine, there is no ambiguity for what is expected in the house of ND40

Good point but he's still a poopy head

What if i said I don't trust engineers to make inferences? Yall do well with interpreting hard data. Not so good with interpretation of fallible humans.
We do equally well or bad at both. Depends on the engineer doing the inference it is an experience heavy field.

As a controls specialist I spend my life analyzing an imperfect model and judging if it’s close enough or not.

Critical thinking is critical thinking. Not just in engineering.

I want to meet just 1 engineer that takes maintenance access into account.

Again depends on the engineer. I do pretty much all of my own vehicle and boat maintenance and I know exactly what you are referring to.

Recently I was reviewing a design for an underground stormwater detention system. My one and only question was "how do you get in to clean it when it fills up with sediment" the engineer looked at me like I had two heads but sorry, you can't clean 48" pipes manifolded together with only a single 6" access point in each.

Yep. And I’ve had similar engineer go engineer discussions on our hardware. As a controls guy my interests cover most of the hardware chain from beginning to end. And if I have to go into the field (not anymore! 😀) to work on it and it isn’t maintainable I cuss out mechanical designers just as you do.

So you really are FOS.
