War in Ukraine

It just looks like 25-30 years of escalation heading to thermonuclear war to me. Once all the nonsense narratives either failed or began to eat themselves the options became limited. It went from F Russia, to F the Ukraine, to F Europe to now F the world. I don't think there is a game being played to be honest, I mean on the Russia side. They have to plan to meat grind to the Polish border, not much they are going to be able to do stop the escalation.

Western governments are either delusional or crazy. Delusional in the sense that they think they are still the big bully on the block and the rest of the world will capitulate to their whims or crazy in the sense they know the previous but their only hope to remain the world superpower is the large scale destruction of the earth in hopes we come out on top.

China, Russia and the rest of the world are no longer scared of the West and they are no longer going to be dictated to by the West. The West is frivolous, silly, without virtue and ridiculous. They no longer have the moral clarity and virtue to lead the world.

Russia has incredible natural resources, almost 150M people and a GDP equivalent to Texas.

Ukraine has a GDP on par with Nebraska.

They are outhouses...not even good enough to be considered for indoor plumbing.

More or less agree. I mentioned once all these silly narratives failed or started to eat themselves, the West ran out of options. Tough choices now.

You're barking (metaphorically) up the wrong tree with me. I don't want us involved in anything over there. Russia is a failed state. Their politics predicted their 3rd world status.

But Ukraine, Poland, and any other country has a right to self determination without Russia's involvement by force or fiat.

A failed State? It's not 1990 anymore, Doc Brown. Get back in the DeLorean and set for 2024.

The only thing we can learn from McGregor is how Putin likes his oral.

Thanks for the stupid homo jokes. You are the perfect encapsulation of the current state of the West. Confidently stupid, frivolous, unprincipled and lacking moral clarity.

...oh, speaking of outhouses...

Per Russian State Statistics Service Rosstat, 22.6% of Russians do not have indoor plumbing. In rural Russia, almost 2/3rd's have no access to indoor toilets, 48.1% use outhouses and 18.4% do not have a sewage system.

Hindsight is 20/20 but we should have listened to Patton, rearmed the German Army turned them around and kicked the USSR out of Europe. I'm not sure I agree with him on going to Moscow but we should have never allowed them to remain in territory outside of their pre-war borders.

Most of Serbia has no water access ie cold. Its like living in parts of Alaska if not colder. LoL

Fine by me.

Disagree. But neither of us will suffer because of it, so why argue your destination.

You are bring all this up, nobody is arguing with you. You claimed something I said when I didn't.

To be honest, you are talking about trailers and such, you come off as someone that came from a trailer. 😂

Oof for the Reds.

In 2021, 3.57% of Alaska households lacked complete plumbing facilities, which is the highest percentage in the United States

In what way can I say "I agree with you if your take is destination isn't prediction"?

I've said it at least twice now. And I haven't argued with you since. Take the W, you deserve it.

Patton may have had the right idea.

But you know my feelings on the "right" way to fight wars. And it isn't Patton's way.

I would suggest you go through some videos, its been a long time since I had been to Eastern Europe. He traveled throughout Russia, walked of miles, some of the most beautiful cities.... and I have been to quite a few of the nice ones in the world. Most of it doesn't exist in the U.S. at scale. Most of the inner cities in the U.S. are dumps. Couple of square blocks here and there are okay. LoL

You are living in like 1985 or something. Heck, even some of the larger towns/small cities in Siberia, nothing like that exists in the U.S. I find it amazing.

I find individual Russians to be industrious and clever. They kinda remind me of self sufficient rednecks. I am sure there are beautiful cities and incredibly hardy towns.

But it doesn't change their place in the world because of their leadership over the decades.
