My wife works with his mom. She said she’s really nice and extremely proud of her son. His parents drove from Nashville for every game this year, even the midweek ones. I’ve been rooting for him this season.

4 SEC teams have advanced to the supers. 2 more will have a chance tomorrow. I'll be cheering against them. The only team I care about, SEC or otherwise, is Tennessee.

I got to meet Kavares's dad last year at the Super Regional. He is a great guy.

Our guys in the dugout know that, but overall all the fans were outstanding. Who cares what anyone says about the SEC. I don’t cheer the for the SEC personally. I like that UT is in this conference bc it’s filled with ridiculous athletes who are supremely talented which makes it highly entertaining but every other SEC team can lose and I’ll be ok with it
