That was a huge discovery. I'm sure it led to a lot more discoveries in medicine and and inventions by people who would've been dead.

Seems like a lot of the major jumps come after a new form of communication comes around. More & easier access to better information.

I'm still blown away by how pretty much everything relating to today's computers work. It's amazing we can regulate and access information on such a tiny scale like in ssd/microchips. It's pretty wild when you start to understand how it works. . . even the computer mouse is incredible.

Advances in medicine. Namely, Penicillin.

Without modern medicine half the people who invented the other crap wouldn't have existed or wouldn't have lived long enough to make it. I don't think it's a coincidence that nearly all the greatest inventions mentioned came after the 18th century medical revolution.

I will always say HeLa reproduction was the greatest medical advancement. Unfortunately it was also the start of why medicine is stupid expensive now
