Because we aren't morons who believe Trump is the devil in human form?

It still doesn't work that way. My son has to pass a civics class next year to complete 7th grade. I'll send you his textbook when it's done

Sure it works that way. It did work that way. It needed to work that way. It's the ultimate in checks and balances.

I hope that other countries have methods in place to negate the catastrophic actions of an insane leader.

Sure. And there should be contingencies in place to override that decision if it is deemed to be catastrophically insane.

We should all hope that it is how it works - globally.

I'm guessing removing troops from Syria was not catastrophically insane, but I don't really know.

Surely it is not your position that if a president orders a catastrophic global military action that it should be carried out without question.

It never happened. There were no catastrophically insane orders. That never happened yet the chain of command was bypassed and subverted in the face of hostile nations.

If you don't know what happened why are you claiming it was correct and legal? They aren't allowed to ignore orders and lie to the CiC just because they have a different agenda. That belief is actually catastrophically insane

Which still doesn't address the issue. Can the CiC pull troops out of a foreign country or can the military ignore the order and then lie to the CiC? Do you believe that's how it should work?

300 year catastrophe? Not the Civil War, ww1, The Great Depression, ww2, Korean War, Vietnam, assasination of Kennedy, 911, etc is not the catastrophe but Trump is?

We were in the same number of wars and the accords were simply a money transfer. He wasn't much different but wasn't catastrophically insane for most of his term like is being claimed
