Cognitive dissonance?Being divisive and socialistic in policy (see the farmer bailout) .... while "dumbing down" the population may have started with Obama, but it sure as hell didn't stop when Trump took office. The cognitive dissonance among the MAGA crowd never ceases to amaze.
Cognitive dissonance?
Please post the laundry list of Biden accomplishments that I'm just to dumb to understand.
Wow, 1 whole 'accomplishment' to crow about? And even that is dubious. How many billions have we spent on.... what.... 4 EV charging stations?![]()
Trump promises to make infrastructure a major focus
Donald Trump has signaled that infrastructure will be a major issue in his administration. He has also promised to create 25 million jobs through infrastructure spending, tax reduction, trade deal reform and lifting restrictions on American energy development. ^^^^ This PBS article is from November of 2016, shortly after Donald Trump was elected. Trump promised to make infrastructure projects a priority of his 1st term in office, but never got anything done. That was because there isn't any political reward for infrastructure legislation. Even though both parties will agree that some of these projects are desperately needed, there is no political incentive to take legislative action because by the time the projects are completed, the current Presidential Administration will have left office.
^^^^ This Brookings article details what has resulted from the infrastructure legislation Joe Biden signed into law .... which Trump had falsely pledged to do after being elected. Biden will receive no credit or political reward for these projects when they are finished, but they needed to be done. In fact, Trump will probably take credit for them if they are completed while he is President. However, a well-informed person will know that Trump never did $hit about America's crumbling infrastructure. A President who didn't care about immediate political reward had to be the one to do it.
We've been doing "Infrastructure" for how many Presidents now??? Come on.![]()

You didn't read the Brookings article. You couldn't possibly have .... or else your reading comprehension skills are atrocious. In your case .... it's more a case of willful ignorance than cognitive dissonance.Wow, 1 whole 'accomplishment' to crow about? And even that is dubious. LOL. This is what you want to run with and I am the one with cognitive dissonance? Hilarious.
Nope didn't read it, my comment was simplyYou didn't read the Brookings article. You couldn't possibly have .... or else your reading comprehension skills are atrocious. In your case .... it's more a case of willful ignorance than cognitive dissonance.
The bottom line is the Biden Administration followed through with legislation which will be of great value to public works .... after the Trump Administration had pledged to prioritize them, but then did NOTHING.
Not only did Donald Trump not get ANYTHING done for public works, he even tried to sabotage the bipartisan deal that Joe Biden had negotiated.Nope didn't read it, my comment was simply

Maybe practice some of that thar reading and comprehension you're so proud of.
