So according to your post, it's possible that Zack Edey, within seconds of beating NC State to go to the NCAA championship game, said "where is my stat sheet? I have to see my stats before I can talk to Tracy Wolfe"? That doesn't make any sense to me.

*I don't think you even read my "closing arguments" reply to you or have even considered in the last 14+ hours that it was not a stat sheet or that I could be right.

Many people don't realize how much recruiting has fallen off. In-state players do not want to come to UT. Top talent like Rhyne Howard don't even want to talk to UT. Even legacy players look elsewhere. Kellie had strong headwinds with recruiting and NIL. I don't think keeping her long-term was the right choice, but I, like many, think UT needed to fix internal issues before blowing it all up.

Seems like a hockham's laser scenario. Considering the situation and his recent interview, it's probably most likely to be a talking point card.

Scrolling through the Lady Vols Instagram post.. She must be the real deal esp when she has former players from her last 2 schools in the comments taking up for her in the comments.. which is absolutely wild they're evening having to do that.. Some ppl don't need to be on social media at all. 99% of the time it's older ppl & or they have no clue what they're saying. They just wanna hate & cause drama. 🤦‍♂️

Imagine the uproar & hate if social media was around when we hired Pat Summit that had never coached before🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ sometimes it's better to sthu and sit back & watch the results before spitting off judgemental hate for no reason..

Analytics say so but those analytics will also evolve based on how the game is played by successful teams. Dunks and 3's were added to the game within the last half century and did change the game......but how the player's play the game dictates said analytics.

Jordan's turnaround fadeaway jumper is analytically a terrible shot by today's standards but he won 6 championships and became the GOAT after developing that shot. Point being that the key to basketball is mostly mental mixed with effort and being able to develop a shot or multiple shots that can't be guarded and put yourself in position to determine the outcome with as little impact from the as defense possible.

Then you practice said shot(s) thousands of times a year to improve your percentage of success. Jordan became the best once he realized that and stopped relying only on his athletic ability.

I think this job is bigger than a Marshall hire, personally. If you're gonna spend the money to fire, buyout, and rehire you damn better be willing to go get the best. Otherwise what's the damn point?

Maybe this Marshall coach will bring the Lady Vols back to the forefront of women’s basketball. I really hope that she does!

I often have my mind changed..by good points. I stand by my hatred of the rigid misuse of analytics by dogmatic morons that can't think or feel their way through a game.

They are not "innovators"..they have no ability to improvise because of their reliance on a rigid system and it is stupid to be so rigid....now I'm done..lol.
