do softball teams only recruit one pitcher?

I'm not sure how serious your post was. However, the underhanded pitching motion in softball apparently puts much less pressure on the shoulder and elbow of the pitcher. That allows them to throw a lot more pitches. That is why one primary pitcher can play in so many games in softball.

Reminds me of Eric Montross…RIP. Good solid performer back when true centers were viable. Kinda lost in translation nowadays. I don’t see Edey being able to go get his shot in regular NBA sets.

Eric Montross won a national championship. Hopefully, Edey can never say the same.

Eric Monroe’s? Edey is 4 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier…. He averages close to 12 more ppg, 4 rebs per game, 1.3 assists more per game, more BPG….. He has better FG% and FT %…. He is in a whole other level from Eric Montross…. You don’t think he could have gotten his shot in the 90’s NBA?

This was discussed in the bball forum recently. He didn’t play great defense and didn’t shoot all that well his freshmen year. I’m sure he will improve but not sure they will pursue. Sounds like they might have reached out to Michael Ajayi from Pepperdine.

And we wonder why 200 lb tarpon are extinct in US waters.

Should be mandatory to catch Tarpon and Tuna on fly. Catch, and release.

MonTROSS. 7 foot 250 lbs and played for DEAN SMITH. Only person to ever hold Michael Jordan under 20 ppg. It’s a comparison I have for Edey. Good luck changing my opinion. No…I don’t see him playing a stretch 5 and getting his shot ala Embiid.
