Toughed out a win---and that's all that matters. That said, I'm amazed we did win as awful as we shot the ball. We can't shoot that poorly again and expect to win. Ziggy has got to be better from the 3-line. He's had a lot of games this year where he's taken a lot of threes and his shooting percentage as been poor. He had 7 assists--good--but also 4 turnovers. Three for 25 from the 3-line is just absurdly bad--a worry. Texas is not a very good offensive team, and we played excellent defense in the first half and well enough in the 2nd, and had some big plays when we needed them. Whew!

Aidoo knocked a couple down in a pressurized moment too. I think when we were up by 1 or 2

He was 1 for 2 at the line the previous time he went. We only win with those FTs. UTjr was a pain in the butt and wouldn't go quietly.

He did play tough, no denying that. Same for Gainey (who did throw an air ball on an open 3). But he still struggles on what to do with the ball in some situations. Pull up and shoot the mid range.

He doesn't have the highest basketball IQ or aggression but he plays within our system on offense and is one of the most versatile and elite defensive players in the country along with Mashack. SV also a beast on D and all are great rebounders.

ZZ is the best overall defender but lacks the size to be as versatile in who he can guard.
