2024 Presidential Race

They probably would have been convicted.
And yes, the FBI should be used to track down stolen private property of the children of presidential candidates that is being used for propaganda purposes.

No, per the FL landlord tenant act the landlord is responsible for securing any property left behind by a former tenant. The max penalty in FL for not following the abandoned property clause for items valued under $500 is 3 months rent and that is the landlords penalty. The new lessee has no legal obligation concerning abandoned property unless it is specified in the lease.

The FBI went hard after those two numbskulls to get them to plead because they new they would probably never win in a trial.

Two Florida residents pleaded guilty on Thursday to conspiring to traffic in stolen goods for selling a diary and other personal effects of President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley Biden, the Justice Department said.

Lots of dumb people take plea deals because they don't have the means to fight the government.

Or maybe the diary was stolen. Plus, I think everyone knew the diary carried a value of far more than $500, so the tenant act you provided is meaningless.

Why do you continue to push the ludicrous forgery theory?
As I have already stated dozens of times now ....

The involvement of Project Veritas gives plausibility to the belief that the diary was tampered with, They have a history of tampering with evidence, lying about evidence and bribing witnesses to lie for them. They are not above forgery. The couple who found the diary was obviously trying to make as much money from it as possible, and therefore, they also had motive to tamper with the diary.

Why do you keep asking the same questions over and over?

Whether you agree with me or not, my reasoning should be easy to understand. I believe that the involvement of Project Veritas in this matter taints the authenticity of the evidence. Maybe Ashley Biden did write those entries? .... However, there is room for reasonable suspicion based on the lack of integrity of the people who were in possession of the diary in between the time Ashley Biden last had it, and when it was handed over to the FBI.

We have covered all of this in the past. It is my own stupid fault for letting you drag me into this yet again. I should be able to ignore this.

It's not a work of art and I think anyone would have a hard time arguing it was IP so the diary is worth whatever a diary costs at the store.

??????????
They sold the diary for $40k, but it was only worth the cost of a diary at the store???

Do you ever listen to yourself?

LOL! A piece of property is worth whatever it will sell for. The couple sold that diary to Project Veritas for $40,000. That means the diary's value is $40,000. That was a really stupid thing for you to say.

Doesn't really matter since nothing of significance was in the diary to begin with.
His daughter claiming inappropriate showers with daddy...when coupled with Joe's inappropriate behavior around kids and comments he has made about them...it adds up to a better the not chance you voted for and support a pedophile..hell even his own son refers to him as pedo pete

Courts must use "fair market value" to determine the worth of stolen property.

Besides, per the FL landlord tenant act the diary wasn't stolen.

Nah, it actually all looks relatively benign to me.....especially when compared to trump's "relationship" with Ivanka.

Would be difficult to determine ..... because such an item is clearly worth more than what it sold for at the store .... based on who owned it and how it was used. Ruby slippers sold in a department store in the 1930's did not cost very much .... but after having been worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz? They are worth millions.

And there you go. How would a court determine the fair market value of this diary? Especially when others passed on buying it.
