A lot if this discussion got moved to the off topic thread. Jack said he had expressed frustration with being called a commie and it kept going on. I knew he had and that was part of the reason I said something and why I didn't see it as normal picking. I think we established that commie can acceptably be responded to with fascist and those will be the ground rules moving forward...lol.
Where in Charlotte? I live just off 85 on the edge of Concord
Surprised no one has posted the classic runway girl gif, or the Vols cheerleader pic.
Sure…. call me Fascist all day long…. just wordsA lot if this discussion got moved to the off topic thread. Jack said he had expressed frustration with being called a commie and it kept going on. Not that this makes complete sense, but it's what Sally said:
I enjoy the looks of the Coliseum, especially when USC is good. The historical factor was also why I made it my final 4 pick. The only thing I like about Michigan’s stadium is that the field is below ground level, which (admittedly) is kind of cool.
I like the Coliseum, but it doesn’t really feel like a true college venue.
I've never been to a game there, but Michigan Stadium's layout supposedly doesn't lend itself to being super loud. I've heard it described by people who have attended games there (including Michigan fans themselves) say that for 107k people it isn't as loud as you'd think. The bleachers are not particularly steep, and it doesn't contain the sound very well. I also think a greater % of their fanbase is a wine and cheese crowd. The only thing I like about Michigan’s stadium is that the field is below ground level, which (admittedly) is kind of cool.

This is a bit sentimental, so please VN friends give me the space to share
It is the week of The Players PGA golf tournament
In 2021 my younger brother's 21 year old son Ryan died in a car accident. Wear your damn seatbelts, morans
My brother spread some of his ashes in the bunker of 17 at Sawgrass
I have played the course since and cried like a little bitch when I played 17
Who am I kidding? I cry every time they show 17 in the TV coverage. No parent should ever burry a child. That day broke him
Who cries watching televised golf???
Me
Most of the known Elite QB's are coming out for this April's draft. Don't think any are pegged as potential #1 for 2025.What QBs are coming out this year? #1 overall is typically reserved for QBs. But it would be bad ass if we had the first overall pick. First time since Manninng.
Good information and very interesting.I've never been to a game there, but Michigan Stadium's layout supposedly doesn't lend itself to being super loud. I have walked around the stadium, and it is odd (in a good way) that the top of the stadium is basically at street level. It's a totally different look on the outside than a place like Neyland. The outside of their stadium is admittedly nicer than Neyland.
Quinn Ewers is the current top prospect tho Prime’s PR machine is running full tilt for Shadeur. There’s usually a surprise guest who emerges out of nowhere. Most of the known Elite QB's are coming out for this April's draft. Don't think any are pegged as potential #1 for 2025.
If Nico does as good as we're hoping, he'd likely contend for the #1 pick in the 2026 draft. I know it's wishful thinking but how great would that be to have back to back #1 draft picks.
You might try Kathleen Edelman’s Color Temperments. It’s about you/their inherent personality and how you are wired. Helps when you are different than your kids so you can better relate to them… Link below to general and then one podcast on each color (4) that will tell you a lot about you, your kids, and wife. Each of the 5 vids is just over 20 minutes and is a big help.
I know the horseshoe shape the stadium makes is a huge part of its charm (and the nickname for the stadium itself), but it honestly kind of makes for a weird look because it isn't fully enclosed. There's the original horseshoe seating, then they eventually just dropped in another set of bleachers on the open end that doesn't connect to the existing seating. Sanford is the same way. IMO, it is kind of a "small school" look. It makes the stadium look smaller than it actually is.Good information and very interesting.
*I've not seen The Big House in person but I did see the Horseshoe in Columbus. I was not impressed with the size, looks, or it's location. We pulled in to a parking lot at the curved end of the stadium and I remember saying to my wife "is this it?" I was a little disappointed. The inside looks kind of cool though.
