War in Ukraine

What resources do you guys use as news concerning the war? Is there a new source out there that gives an objective update of the war, who's winning, how the war is going?

That's a great question.

Basically, you have to follow pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian accounts on Twitter or Telegram. You are looking for overlap of basic facts. Essentially, splitting the difference between self-reported bad news from one side with the positive news of the other. Luckily, in this war, there is so much video evidence that you don't have to rely too much on individual testimonials.

When the war first started, there were a few independent open source military/intelligence guys that chronicled and listed confirmed losses on either side as a hobby. Sadly, given the staggering magnitude of losses and duration of the conflict, those guys have mostly given up or stopped their efforts due to burnout.

Like who?

He specifically asked you who.

You replied back "those guys". WTF???

If EL supports ukraine, they must be as corrupt as russia.
I'm a big supporter of people not taking s**t that doesn't belong to them, whether that's Russia trying to take Ukrainian land or Israel trying to take Palestinian lands in the West Bank.

Yet you have no problems with your dem party taking America's freedoms and money away through taxes. I hate to break it to you, but the West Bank is all Israel it always will be

There is a YouTube channel called Patrick Lancaster, I'm not sure if you guys seen him but he interviews a lot of Russian soldiers. They give a pretty interesting take on the war

Lancaster is a bought and paid for Russian propaganda stooge. His tripe was posted regularly in this thread in the early days of the war.

Yeah, he has russian bias, he get their perspective on the war. He's probably no different than the pro-ukrainian reporters.
That’s a fair take. There are clearly propagandists from both perspectives. The stooge who replied to you on us calling him a pootin puppet (which we did and still do) was one of his biggest fans early on. With regards to he gets the “Russian perspective” plenty of links have been provided showing his media is largely staged so it isn’t always or even normally a boots on the ground perspective it’s the narrative the Kremlin wants propagated.

Yeah, that could be. I dont research him and i haven't seen much in terms of people researching him. All i know is for Ukraine to really have a chance, america would need to send troops.

You didn't research him, but you're propping him up as a reputable source of information?

There's been plenty of discussion of his antics.
