Games like today and against Purdue, Kansas, NC is games we truly could use Uros as bad as I hate to say that... dude did not care to put someone on their ass or elbow em to send a message. This team misses that & a strong/tough post to body up with the Edeys, Tolu Smiths, & Bacots. Aidoo gets overpowered & bullied against em

SECPOY, SEC defensive POY, Second team All-SEC team member, and a former two time Second team All-SEC team member?

That’s 4. Before you go on, you are talking in absolutes. We have multiple good players. They don’t all sometimes play well in the same game, and one has lost all of his confidence. But that doesn’t mean they are bad. They’ve proven to be good.

The same people saying that the NCAAT is all that matters are now saying the conference tournament matters. Problem is that Barnes has made the conference finals in 3 of his last 5 before this year. He’s won at least 1 game in the SECT every year except 1 in 7 seasons (no tournament in 2020). So, this year was the outlier. Yet, here we are with some of our fans changing the parameters to fit their narrative.

You do understand we had to win a BARRAGE of big games and win the SEC just to be in that position, right?! Which we successfully put ourselves in. But it was never ours to win or lose...it's cumulative of dozens of games across the season.

Guess you'd be happier if we had lost the big 4 games so you wouldn't have to be disappointed. Never earned anything, never lost anything.

It's the ultimate form of moving the goalpost and always expecting an endless stream of accomplishments...as if you never met all the others to begin with. "We won the SEC! And yet we blew the NCAAT championship! What a waste and a pointless season!!"

This should be the posted as a response to every single bad take from posters today on this game. Well said!

Nothing wrong with opinions but bad takes that provide no observation and context that doesn’t take into account what this team has already accomplished with the biggest tournament still in front of them is just poor form.

Our bigs have a tendency to play finesse when they think they can get away with it. Clearly we can't get away with it as often as they're comfortable with but that's the issue.

Yeah, they should be careful with that "hit them in the mouth" bs as there was a lot of **** they did not call at all in that first half that is normally called in every single game. Not saying the refs caused us to lose at all, but they definitely let a lot of stuff go on.
