It wasn't pleasant. I did it myself per doc's instructions. But it's out now. My ride side is still obstructed by swelling or something. Got to talk to the doc about it. My left side is great. My lip is pretty swollen and numb.

Plenty of people went to college and made the pros before Saban and if you're comparing now or recent history to 30 or even 20 years ago you're making a huge mistake. I believe CBS paid 100 mil for the right to broadcast the SEC in 1996, the new contract with ESPN is 3 bil. So if you think that money explosion is going to be covered by a Dodge Charger you're kidding yourself.
Say you were renting land to a farmer for $50 an acre and the farmer was making $200 an acre planting a crop. Twenty years later the farmer is making $6000 an acre. You would be okay still making the $50, right?
The money is in the game and there is nothing that will change that. Cheating the players out of earning their market value is not going to bring back the nostalgic days of Knute Rockne.

Not in the NFL or any other endeavor where the workers possess extremely rare talents like athletic freaks of nature. Pretty sure Ali made a little more than Angelo Dundee. Elvis took in more than Tom Parker. Jeter probably made more than Torre. And frankly Derek Henry should have made more than Saban.
