Woof...despicably made for thugs. They're doing a disservice to their people and culture.

But I am glad fighting in hockey has decreased over time Maybe they are trying to improve themselves.

Obviously you don't follow the sport. They are not thugs. It is a very controlled fight that only a few select players engage in. It prevents other players from taking cheap shots on their opponents. Basically they self enforce the sport and prevent conduct that could get someone really hurt.

I think DK has done a great job passing out of the double and have seen a few good pick and rolls. i wish we would set it up more to get it to specific players to catch and shoot in rhythm… JJJ is not that guy. I use the Lakers and Bulls as an example…. They would always get their top guys wide open threes…. They made you pay every time.

It seems weird to me that they don't understand what we are talking about..

Because that chick took the ball the length of the court at the end of the first half?

They didn't foul her at halfcourt...it was FIFTEEN feet behind halfcourt with less than TWO seconds left. She was about to have to put up a halfcourt shot on a dead sprint. Instead you let them set up a play from HC?

Kellie told them to foul her if she got the ball because she can take it the length...umm getting a rebound off a missed FT with 4 seconds left and taking it down the court is MUCH different than inbounding it up the floor. You rely on the chaos of the rebound and let time be on your side in that situation every time.

One issue though is that you have to decide to foul before the play unfolds. You either do or you don’t. You get in trouble when you are trying to guess at it.

Nevermind the USC girl double-dribbled. If the rebound had come off clean and a pass was made 30 feet down, you got to play some defense. I really didn’t mind the foul. It’s the next play they messed up, and people were confused because Jackson wasn’t even paying attention. I know USC didn’t have a TO, but I think you use one to get your own team organized.

I’m still salty about UK. 85% BPI chance to win, favored by 8.5, picked by everyone on GameDay, Senior Day, and it very likely cost us a 1 seed. Sigh. At least we ripped them apart at Rupp.

Not gonna lie...Kentucky definitely came out with an ace up their sleeve. I don't think our team was expecting that kind of physical defense and intensity. It definitely caught us off guard I think

Why would our guys expect it?...they have played pathetic lazy defense all year. Alabama tried that too against us but we got enough production to heat them...we had too many guys suck too hard to win that game Saturday the way they were shooting.

It is a lot to ask for guys to keep bring 100% focus and intensity as long as we did...that last game was just a bridge too far...and by the time everybody woke up...it was just too late.
