I think DK has done a great job passing out of the double and have seen a few good pick and rolls. i wish we would set it up more to get it to specific players to catch and shoot in rhythm… JJJ is not that guy. I use the Lakers and Bulls as an example…. They would always get their top guys wide open threes…. They made you pay every time.In the last few games (aside from maybe UK), they’ve found open guys when DK was doubled. Vescovi found a wide open Aidoo for a dunk late against Auburn after they doubled DK. Against Bama, they doubled DK, 2-3 passes were made to JJJ for a huge wide open 3 late in that game. Against UK, DK took a couple of quick shots that weren’t within the offense. We also missed some shots.
I agree, I wouldn't want to do it for a living but it is a nice escape sometimes. Problem is when I unplug my brain out on the mower, I forget to plug it back in when I'm done.I enjoy it. I can't run anymore, which was my stress reliever when I was younger, so now I go outside and make my yard look nice. Gives me a task and something unplug my brain for a while.
If Vescovi didn't score any points in any games I would put him on the floor for his defense. Yeah if he would have hit a couple shots we'd've won but if he played average defense we'd've lost by 20.I’ve been very unimpressed with Santi this year. He hasn’t been a standout stud during his time here, but he’s at least been a pretty big part of the team. But this year, he’s so inconsistent! He’ll have games where he looks like the league MVP, then he’ll have a run where he looks like he’s been playing bench on JV his whole life. It’s been a head scratcher for sure.
