I just want to make a point about the double standard between Biden and Trump with two videos below :





^^^^ This was a speech that Donald Trump gave at CPAC two weeks ago when he referred to his wife Melania as "Mercedes."





^^^^ This was at a campaign rally a week ago when Donald Trump, once again, confused Obama and Biden. Trump has frequently spoken of Barack Obama as being the current President of the United States since his 2024 Presidential Election Campaign began in November of 2022.

They are both old men. However, there does appear to be a very different response from the right when Donald Trump makes one of these types of gaffes vs when Joe Biden does it. They really aren't that different. It's a very clear double standard.

To the first about Melania, it is a LIE..he is referring to Mercedes Schlapp at 2:02:20. You can youtube his speech and it is nothing but repeats of this LIE.

To the Obama point, another Lie..He was saying People say he thinks Obama is the real leader. I just heard it.

Trump is on the defensive about his many speaking/mental lapses. He actually made a short video in which
he tried to claim that his frequent references to "Obama" when he meant Biden were a joke. Complete lie.

Same with forgetting his wife's name.

He is the worst public speaker ever. He struggles to read a teleprompter and mangles words comically and frequently--there are many compilations of his many verbal screwups online. He doesn't read--and when you don't read you brain weakens. His is now the size of a shrunken pea. Whatever Biden's age-related issues, Trump's are FAR worse.

You are probably right about the first video. I admittedly didn't take the time to watch it all. It's actually The Independent's mistake, but since I posted it here, I will acknowledge and apologize for it. I can admit to mistakes, unlike some on here.

However, on the 2nd video, you are dead wrong. Your explanation doesn't even make sense in the context of the video ... which I have now completely watched. Trump was clearly confusing Barack Obama for being the current President of the United States which he has frequently done since announcing his most recent run for the presidency in 2022.

There are other examples of this which I can and will post here ... if you stubbornly persist with your ridiculous explanation, because you are a cult member who has a pathetic need to carry water for an old man like Donald Trump.

The 2nd video was not a lie. Trump made the same mistake as he made in the video I just posted. He was giving an anecdotal story, which referred to Obama as being the current President. You are such a Trump-loving cult member that you can't admit what is plain to hear on video .... and there are others. He has done this many times now.

Please give it a look. If you are truly not a cult member, you should be able to acknowledge the reality here. Trump frequently confuses Barack Obama for being the current President. There are many provable examples of this. There is a clear double standard between Biden and Trump when it comes to these types of gaffes. Trump has done it too many times now for it to be dismissed as "misspeaking."

If you continue to deny this ... I will post more examples.
