in other words…. she got lucky…. the girl missed the shot and got bailed out by the backboard….. people would be complaining no matter what…. it didn’t work out in our favor..

A 6' '7" center who can barely make layups banks in a 3 point shot luckily.

How's that great coaching..

The difference today was their defense. They’ve been bad most of the year. If they defend like today, they will do well. But they also won’t hit 50% from 3. 2 lottery picks and a 5th year guy who is averaging 20 ppg, and they have losses to UNCW, LSU, and a mediocre Gonzaga team.

She got a wide open shot, with a chance to win it. Wherever the chips fall after that is irrelevant. She saw a defense and called something that gave her team a chance.

Athletic earlier said about Quad 1As...guess that's a thing...we have 5 1A wins...Zona has 4...quads adjusting for road games...so not necessarily ranked teams...

Still feels like we'll have a slight lead even if Zona beats mighty mighty USC tonight 😏

God I just hope we can rest up. DK hit the floor a dozen times tonight and nearly got injured on one fall. I hate UK 😡

True and if she had missed it…. the south carolina board would be complaining about drawing up a play for a girl that had never made a shot past the foul line.

Didn’t even need to foul that girl was chucking it from past half court and couldn’t even get it anywhere close. Just not strong enough. Game was over with.

The way they defended the inbounds and didn’t challenge them at all to catch the inbounds with a foul to give just adds to it. So unacceptable.

Also, hit a f’n free throw.

Correct, there is no one else like him. Changes how the game is played on both sides more than any other player in college bball

They did at first. Fouling with 1.1 is risky. It’s a catch and shoot situation. The mistake was not calling a TO and leaving someone open. Jackson was taking direction and not even paying attention.

The double dribble after the missed FT would have probably ended it too.

That is my biggest fault with her…. why did she not call a TO when she had one left.
