Dooley is the worst hire in UT history. I’m always amazed at how people act like Butch is the poster child for bad coaching. Butch was bad, but Dooley was a disaster. If we’d hired Butch in 2011, we never sink as low as we did. Still wasn’t the right guy, but Dooley shouldn’t coach a high school team.

You should probably check out his resume on his Wikipedia page. I’m definitely no fan of Derek Dooley, but he has spent many years coaching in the NFL.

Just talking about visible effort...I know what it was back then...I'm nearly 56.

The effort on defense seemed to be a little lacking from what I've seen...but like I said..it SEEMED to be lacking from what few games I've been able to dig up.

And further more I was out making a living and living the dream when you were being weaned from the teet. I was 8 years old when you were born and I had already seen things pal.....lots of things.
