If it were true (which it to the point of absolute hilarity it is not) I'm guessing Biden et al. would surmise it would make someone at least 2.75% deader.

I heard they also served Irish blood sausage to attract German, Austrian, and Russian Trumpling voters. Served with boiled potatoes, Swiss chard, and endive. But the Republiars countered with lamb kabobs, matzo balls, potato latkes, and pickled cucumber salad to attract Bitten Jewish voters. It was a tie because politicians will and say anything for your vote and money. But Trumplings are the most persistent and outrageous liars.

If everything stays exactly the same between now and November (which it won't, but humor me), the issue in my view is not "losing ground," its losing motivation. There is a hard core MAGA component to the GOP now that will fervently support Trump. For the Dems, there is really only a fervent anti-Trump component to the Dem party such that its really people voting against Trump, much, much more so than voting for Biden.

I hope I'm wrong but Biden's insistence on running again, with his lukewarm simply anti-Trump base behind him, may get Trump elected again based on voter apathy as much as anything else.

You don't really believe he will be the nominee. You aren't that naive. And even if he does, there is no way he drags that cackling idiot along in the #2 spot.
