War in Ukraine

Two things:

1. Look at the way these clowns react when they "think" that Russia, China, Iran or North Korea is interfering in our country in one way or the other. So let me get this understood... when we interfere with other nations, that OK. But when other nations (allegedly) interfere over here, now it is casus belli.

2. The same tactics the people in control use overseas are now being used here at home. They are attacking us with "sanctions" by threatening bank accts and civil asset forfeiture, arresting political opponents, etc... how is the United States any better than any other country?

Your attempt to bring a false sense of equivalency between a democracy supporting opposition to a dictatorship and a dictatorship attempting to subvert democracy, is very telling.

Because the West has far more to gain from his death than Putin. So, IF he was killed it is far more likely it was done by the West. Again, the most likely scenario is he died from being in a crappy remote Siberian prison and he wasnt killed by the West or Putin and it was just bad timing for Putin.
Sure, Jan.

A whole lost of VN on here agreeing that Putin is behind this and is pure evil.... yet not consistently applying the standard to Trump's failure to even comment on it, much less condemn it.

What are the odds someone inside Russia takes a other go at a coup? Last guy got off'd in a plane crash. Surely anyone considering it realizes in for a penny, in for a pound.

You mean the last guy who killed Russian troops and threatened military coup? Yeah, of course he was killed in a plane crash. That is a no brainer.

Yep, both good points.

Should we allow poisonous ideologies to infect and destroy our our culture and way of life? There is no good answer here. Either option can be good or it could be bad.

Even George Washington wrestled with this issue re: alien sedition act.

By your own logic, you'd have the US deport useful idiots such as yourself.

Kudos!

Again, why are you focused on just Trump commenting? You still have Clinton, W and Obama.

I know Obama has condemn it, not sure about the others.

Then again, neither of them is running for President right now. Trump is running and it is blatantly obvious that Putin hopes that Trump wins. If folks want to vote for Trump, anyway, that's on them. But just as I admit that Biden's age is a huge factor against his reelection, Trump voters should squarely face the fact that they are voting for him despite his very odd and inexplicably strong affinity for Putin.

Pretty suspect that @volgr is already parroting the head of the Russian Duma in claiming that the "the west" somehow infiltrated the Polar Wolf Gulag, and killed Navalny to make Putin look bad.

Oh there’s no doubt the talking points went out to all the stooge faithful immediately so they’d be ready to carry the water for the latest absolutely moronic decision by the bald dwarf.

Russia’s Putin says he prefers ‘more predictable’ Biden over Trump in U.S. election

Putin wanted Bernie to win too. You never address that

Russia with a GDP on par with Canada and a population slightly larger than Mexico, in two years is unable to mount a successful invasion of a country with a GDP on par with Nebraska and a population like California.

I have no idea why Russia /Putin is so scary to people.
nukes.

and I think for a lot of Europe, really everyone but the Poles and maybe the Baltic nations, they are coming to the painful realization that the threat is real. they have assumed for a long time that Russia was NO threat; even if Russia isn't all its cooked up to be, they have to be more wary than before.

Russia (outside of nukes) isn't a threat to Poland or the other NATO Balkin states. Yes, if Putin went completely insane and attacked one it would be bloody but it wouldn't last long.

BTW if you look at the NATO required spending, it's only the Baltic States, Poland, GB and the US meeting the required amount of defense spending.

Ok, fair enough.
My hill billy perspective:
1. I have no confidence Russian nukes are even still operable. If you look at their rag tag army and equipment, it isn't a far fetched notion that their missiles may not even be able to get off the ground.
2. Nuclear war, or using nukes, would be suicide for that backwater country.

Yes it would but their suicide would take out millions of other people.
