Thought I'd read in a couple of place that they'd received the notice, and that's what we responded to. (Also why we know what to respond to.)

If we'd gotten no notice, we wouldn't know that it's about Nico/plane/Spyre/Booster claims/etc...
We received a draft of the allegations. Nothing official yet.

I think we said the same thing, but ok. Agree they had not defined the discussion at the time of the flight. Even if they had defined the issue is it limits player opportunity.
My issue is the "we". But it's not worth an extended argument on the subject.

We'll just say I won.

Most likely. ;)

But that’s in this particular case regarding the restraining order for NIL. Isn’t the thing on the 13th more about stopping the NCAA from going after us until the lawsuit is settled?
The 13th is about if the NCAA’s rules apply until the end of the case or if the court is going to freeze them.

They’d be freezing them on behalf of the players as NCAA policy violates the Sherman act. But because NCAA NIL policy violates the Sherman act they couldn’t go after the university for violating rules that where not even legal.

Not good. We will be railroaded by the NCAA. If they win this case they’ll try and crush us. Just after we got out of this ****.

Thanks! So if I’m understanding you correctly, today’s ruling isn’t actually all that bad, especially considering the judge’s comment about Antitrust laws being broken?

Are we moving to a model where we have to pay monthly fees for a bunch of different channels? NFL game on Peacock. Great series on Apple...etc etc..in addition to what I already pay Hulu?
That’s exactly what’s happening. Disney is hemorrhaging money with ESPN and their streaming services, specifically Hulu, isn’t helping much. Fox doesn’t have the best streaming service out there, so they need skin in the game for when cable eventually crumbles completely. So yes, we’re all about to get raped with even more streaming costs. If they can’t get us with cable, they’ll get us with streaming services.

I think it's important to examine all the options here. I think if Tennessee, Virginia, and all the other states in the south (the ones that care about football) band together, they could really do something about this business of a federal ruling potentially going against them.
