We were just discussing the nickname actually! I told her I was thinking of Sunshine. Called my daughter Angel and Princess. Then my first granddaughter Angel and the second Princess. Now a third one! I remembered I used to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her all the time. Then she tells me she just picked out “You Are My Sunshine” nursery decor because every time she sings it to her son he says….You’re going to have two sunshine’s now! I will slip in a few Sweets every now and then though!

Edit…Still no progress on the actual name though. Maybe Meadow, Violet, Willow,etc. since we’re doing a wildflower theme shower and a sunshine room!

Old school names are awesome. Suggest Iris.

Country music. Real bonafide Country & Western music was recorded on grainy analog equipment. Ambient noise in background. Better with steel guitar sliding.



Cigarette smoke and orange/green ashtray's helped the atmosphere. Live, big band sound helped round out that song.



As time went on, song remained the same. So many giants. Too many to name.



The ballad. Tells a story of their lives.

You're probably right. I got burned out( maybe frustrated is a better word) on country in the early 2000's and pretty much stopped listening to it. I'm sure one day I'll give it another go

I find myself staying between the 80’s and 90’s music list…the grunge era was iconic in the 90’s Alice in chains will forever be my savior…if anyone mentions Nirvana over Alice In Chains..they get a free for life ban hammer no questions asked
