Not taken that way all. But in today's hyper-partisan world, there are quite a few activist judges out there that do take those type things (politics/career advancement/fame) into account, when they should be irrelevant. My point is that is not in play here. IMHO, this judge will respect precedence and the rule of law, while being fair and impartial. Not being an ass. That's sort of what you need to be when you're a judge. Further its good to hear his inpartiality, for all sides. It should be about the Law being applied justly. Not about political aspirations or affiliation.
Not sure how the legalese works, but the lower federal circuit and also SCOTUS have already ruled that players are harmed by the NCAA's market manipulation. Just read the scotus opinion. He was addressing the legalese more than anything. It’s not about what’s right but what you can prove. Can Tennessee prove it’s being wronged? I’m no lawyer and not interested in lawyerings but I do know how fickle the courts can be over the smallest thing which is what makes me nervous.
They're falling a lot harder and faster than I thought they would. I'm sure they'll still be above average for at least the next couple of years, but I think they return to what they were pre-Saban a lot sooner than expected. Not even sweating Alabama anymore.
DeBoer can't even get his OC from Washington to stay in Tuscaloosa..
How is he going to get recruits too?
I was never a huge baseball fan, but collected cards in the 80's (like every other american kid back then,I remember Ron Luciano saying that his eyes couldn't adjust fast enough to see Ryan's fastball when he was calling his game, the ball exploded in to a thousand specks as it approached the plate.
In 1988 Orel Hershiser had most dominant season , would eventually break Don Drysdale 's consecutive scoreless innings streak..I was never a huge baseball fan, but collected cards in the 80's (like every other american kid back then,.) I have a few good ones from him. Also have a few of Orel Hershiser. Surprised people don't talk about him more often.
