Outlaw NIL from recruiting and you solve this problem. NIL was not conceived to be used a recruiting tool--but owing to vague
language and rules the major programs have corrupted it and turned it effectively into a bribery contest for prospects. In doing so
they've turned top high-school prospects into money-grubbing mercenaries. I'm pretty sure that's not what college is supposed to be about--
even if the fans--most have whom have not been to college--are fixated on winning games as opposed to the totality of the college experience.

Certainly, all D1 programs below the major-college level should support a ban on NIL for recruiting purposes as it now simply benefits major programs with the most rich booster crazies. It's time to TRY and restore a scintilla of integrity to college football before it goes completely down the ethical toilet. It's about three-quarters of the way down the hole now.

Provide evidence.

Many programs have mega-rich boosters. Every one of your posts is just an old, washed up dude screaming the same thing over and over at clouds. That is actual insanity and craziness.

NIL for recruiting purposes and/or with University involvement is already against the rules. Inducement is not permitted.

Of course it was. Kids go to bigger schools with more opportunities. This just made the money public instead of worrying about the $100 handshakes. You don't understand this stuff at all but I commend you for your very passionate wrongness

It’s time for the NCAA to be held accountable, what used to be a good oversight committee 40 years ago is now a greedy machine playing to the ones it likes the best. There uneven rulings and length of investigations to having no rules to making them up as they go. The NCAA no longer is capable of properly doing it’s job. The only way to survive in name is a total overhaul of people and rules. Otherwise a new committee must be formed by power 5 institutions. The ncaa must be stopped from the bully tactics it has tried on UT and others while looking the other way when they choose. GBO

How are you going to realistically outlaw NIL from recruiting? The NCAA going to have some Gestapo style secret service listening to every phone conversation and checking every text message? If the NCAA does do something to "outlaw" it, it will already have so many loopholes or workarounds that it will be effectively useless.

Why are you so against athletes making money? I figured this was the kind of redistribution of wealth you could get behind.

I don't really care what the lower tier of D1 wants. Honestly, that tier should be in another division from the top 50 or so schools anyway. There are too many D1 teams.
