I don’t like this…I LOVE IT!! Amazing what Heup has done with this program in just 3 years. He told the truth too…his words will be his actions. That’s a rarity for a D1 head coach. Kudos, coach!

Yet some posters wanted him to run off the guys who were loyal to the program and stayed to help him build this thing

I’m not sure defense is non existent. when you allow great shot makers to run w the ball like 10 year olds without taking dribbles. Not sure how you defend that.

Man...guys like Gary Payton and Rodman pretty much became part of your uniform...it wasn't just that it was more "hands on" back then...they could body you.

These young folks don't understand and never will...they have never seen defense in the NBA like that.

Plus...the absolutely ridiculous non-application of the Traveling and Double dribble rules...that is what makes it all look so sloppy.

There is no point arguing with them...they are ignorant and stubborn.

IMO Josephs/Ross aren’t big enough to play SDE consistently.

I am coming up on 26 years and plan to retire in about 18 months. The NG has helped me earn two degrees and provided much for my family over that time. It has also been a huge sacrifice but I would not trade my time in service for anything. It has been a blessing. Good luck to your son and I pray that his service is as much a blessing to him as mine has been to me.

Thanks for sharing that. Praying he feels the same about his time. Definitely hoping the schooling goes well for him too.
