Glad the d line and LBs stepped up against their running game.

Defense has looked good, which was my biggest question mark coming into this one. They lost a lot, but maybe it’s addition by subtraction in the secondary. Iowa isn’t a great offensive team, but they are experienced.

O Line is a problem. Get a few of the guys back will help but we’ve got to start getting some recruits that can be built and contribute. Davis and Lane, glad they have been Vols, but they are liabilities. They just don’t have it.

So far all good another touchdown puts Iowa in desperate mode. Looks like we can pass against them fairly well underneath not much open downfield.

I really thought we'd see some slants by White and where are our TE's in the passing game? Both are shorter options that will mitigate some of our OL problems.

Tennessee has 220 yards of offense this game. Michigan had 213 in the entire Big 10 Championship.

Bru going down was bigger than some will admit. We weren’t the same after and was a big part of our struggles on offense. We are not WRU as some would like to think.

I feel that if Nico can keep this up we will finish strong on the recruiting trail/transfer portal. We need some big nasty receivers. Getting Bru back would be huge. Another big strong receiver like JJennings and a speedster like Tillman/Hyatt will be a game changer for our offense.

How many yards rushing per game did the Vols average this season? Two starters out today along with top 2 rbs and they have 126 yards at the half…..Iowa gives up 102 per game.

Again, bowl games have nothing to do with what happened in the regular season especially when the team missing a Heisman trophy QB who is 90% of its offense. I do realize that facts are hard to grasp sometimes though.

And we've seen injuries all year long on the OL. Know we get a lot of our starters back next year, but I really hope we consider snagging another OL...or 2... from the portal.

If nothing else they have got to get some better depth.

2 or 3 of those guys need to be recruited over badly.

The inflated prices have kept me from attending games the last two years
