They were inconsistent. No way to know for sure just how good they were and they did themselves no favor by playing a schedule that was 40th in the nation in SOS. When you do that you can’t have a loss.. especially in a championship. One bad day does a good team in if they play a soft schedule.Hate saying it, but I think UGA was the best team this year. Just a bad day vs Bama. Still, I'm thrilled and relieved I don't have to listen to 3-peat through this entire off season. Now if, by some miracle, FSU can upset UGA, that would be an excellent cap to the season for me.
It was never about the best teams. If it were, Georgia and OSU would have made it in. FSU deserved to be in. They got screwed because of money. The CFP committee is officially nothing more than a group of clowns. The selection hit the nail. The best 4 teams are playing for the Championship. The ACC replaced the Big 12 as the Conference which needed to improve its talent to qualify for the final 4. Next year, they Have made room for a team from the ACC to make the top twelve.
I actually believe that Joe's "flaws" had a lot to do with the WRs as whole regression...if you know what I mean. It is hard to develop timing with a guy like him.I'll help you out then. They'd call completely different games because Tannehill can't do what Cam could do.
This isn't complicated.
Again... You listed Milton as a regression. Youn listed the WRs as regressions. In between those, you bemoaned the fact that Heupel called games differently than when he didn't have those problems.
It's mindboggling that you don't see this.
My step-daughter’s Hulu bundle does the same. I pay for hers and ours Netflix and even with the $4.00 a month increase (no ads) on Prime, I plan on keeping that. All in, we’re doling out $70 a month, but we were paying over $200 a month for DirecTV.Just a reminder folks, always be looking into ways to attach subscriptions to these services by looking at your other services like your phone bill. For instance, I don’t pay for Netflix, Apple TV or HBO Max because my mobile provider gives me Netflix for free because of my plan and Apple TV I get from my in-laws mobile plan and we all share. I forget why I get Max for free but it’s something with the in laws getting it free from another deal like this. So all in all, I’m still saving a good amount of money by just knowing where I can cut some costs and by talking with family about options. If I was just paying for them all outright I wouldn’t be saving money like the graphic says.
Also, just having YTTV and Peacock has given me more live sports than I ever had with basic cable. So I’m a little confused on what that part is about.
If ifs was nuts and candy was buts, all would have a happy New Year. The game is what it was. I am a Tennessee fan and always have been but, I the best team won.The difference in that game was GA's best WR and best overall player couldn't go full speed. Even still, if GA doesn't turn it over and the refs don't gift Bama that TD before half, Bama loses.
Had an entire rebuttal to this typed out.I'll help you out then. They'd call completely different games because Tannehill can't do what Cam could do.

Absolutely.Fair point.
When Saban retires, the Alabama coaching search will be the most interesting in college football history. Obviously, it's a great job with a ceiling as high as any. But the pressure of following Saban is so immense. There's almost no way to be considered a success (outside of winning 6 NCs). I think Kiffin is one of the few with the ego to handle that who would also be a big time hire. But if I'm one of these big time guys, I wanna be the guy who follows the guy who follows Saban.
Josh forgot how to offense...we areHad an entire rebuttal to this typed out.GF I got VN'd. Page refreshed and wiped out my reply.
I stand behind what ive said, 100%. I dont care about Tannehill or Newton. I do 100% believe Halzle calls some plays, and I think Josh Heupel does also. I think offensive talent dropped off this year at both, WR, and QB. As Ive stated, the blame is enough to go across the board.
Ultimately JH is the coach, as is Halzle. Who else's responsible for recruiting, developing, and getting kids ready to play? Yes there were some good times, but there were plenty of calls where I scratched my head, thinking we were predictable, too slow, and in a bad position.
Moving on, I like the steps theyve taken in 2024. Really hope the talent on paper translates to success on the field.
