What?! Root for the school that blew out Bruce Pearl in his final game, flopped and got the charge call to stop us from the elite 8, and beat Kennedy Chandler's squad in the tournament? Not to mention gave South Carolina our signals and stopped us from going to the playoffs and potentially Hooker from winning the Heisman. No thanks. I'll root for the school that I have one of my greatest memories rushing the field against in a victory and I respect their coach as the goat.

How could I also forget having the only defensive player ever win the Heisman over a top 3 NFL wide receiver and top 3 QB of all time. Never root for Bama unless it's Michigan (or florida/ole miss personally).

I do agree with you though. Without Travis I think FLST would lose to Bama, TX, and Mich by 10 points. I personally feel Washington is way overrated.

Peyton is sporting 2 Super Bowl rings.

The fact he won one with the Colts is amazing to me.

He couldve had a dynasty at Denver, or even a place like, sigh. Dallas. But he chose to be loyal.

I in hindsight we may never see two dominant QBs like we did with Peyton and Brady. Yes, I get that KC's QB has rings. But, just in terms of pure pocket presents, pure drop back QBs. They essentially were the offense.

I do not believe that drop was entirely because Joe dropped out. Neither of our best RBs are playing, nor are most of our starting DBs. I am not worried about our offense as much as I am our defense for this game.

Then I hope Nico continues to exceed all expectations every game and returns for his senior year, becoming known as the best player to ever step on a football field. I hope he continues to do the same thing in the pros, then retires and becomes a famous actor/philanthropist/international ambassador of UT, before being elected president of the USA.

Get gambling out of college sports. The officiating might get better, especially if their families aren't being held for ransom during the games.

Kansas only had 55 penalties all season. Completely reasonable to go from 4.5 flags per game to 18 in one game, right? Surely. Nothing fishy at all!

It's disgusting. Niether Bama nor Michigan deserves to be in the playoffs. Bama is there only because Birmingham corrupt officiating blatantly advanced them against the merits, and Michigan because the NCAA and the CFP crookedly advanced them by deliberately stalling and refusing to act on three separate investigations where they already have abundant proof. The FBI has proof in one of them. It's the "CFP is Rigged and Corrupt Bowl."

I could see that. I think there's a chance for sure. I'm curious if I can think of a QB comparison in college and if they got drafted or not. VT's QB Logan Thomas comes to mind and he's had a decent career as a tight end. I don't see Milton playing TE whatsoever but I'm not sure if Thomas was drafted with that in mind.

Anthony Richardson had a bad year at Florida and got drafted in the first round. Joe had an average year here and will arguably look better at the combine than AR did. I'd be shocked if he goes undrafted given the precedent for drafting combine heroes.

He was flawed and certainly affected some of the capabilities of the offense. He also did some other things well and operated perfectly fine when everything was on script. Fans just refuse to move past the flaws when creating their opinion of him. The line from Vegas experts certainly do not lend credence to the UT fans that say he is terrible and Nico should have started all season. Vegas thinks UT was better with Milton at QB. It's like a basketball player that plays good defense, communicates well, handles the ball well, doesn't turn it over, but he can't shoot from the perimeter. He limits the effectiveness of the offense but he also helps the team win games. If the roster had a player that could do what he did and also could shoot then you replace him.

I think you're right. I hope our box is ready (@Glitch ), since Iowa doesnt seem to throw a lot. Hopefully that eases the transition for all the new DBs. I think Iowa could play a good game defensively and still have a hard time keeping us below 24. A great game for them would be scoring 17+. So I think we see, worst case, a 24-17 Vols win.

Been to a lot of amusement parks - all the Disney parks in Fl; Universal Studios, Six Flags; Kings Island; Sea World; etc. The best by far was Cedar Point...hands down. Universal would be a distant second.

Our actual favorite Florida park is Busch Gardens.

I think Nico might end up on top, but damn that is a lot of pressure. I think of Manning's career when people start anointing him. Really really good, but no rings.

I will never understand why "rings" are brought up....Peyton was an elite of all time QB....period.

Maybe older ones (sorry). We just haven't been competitive with them in 15 years for the most part while Saban has built a dynasty. I hate Florida, Lane Kiffin, and now Michigan more than them. We've been more competitive with Florida and there are like 5 games that we should have won in that time span. That fuels my hatred for them. Getting blown out by a far superior Georgia team this year just makes me tip my cap and accept that they have a really good team, it doesn't fuel my hatred.

I don’t disagree that they got robbed but they would’ve lost by 2 scores to every other team in the playoff. Now they earned the right to do that but still.

Not sure I agree on the conference being weak with the SEC having 5 of the top 13 teams in the country.

I agree...I will never believe that Joe cared less than Hendon. He just does not have the same ability to read, react and execute quickly and correctly that Hooker does....that is not his fault....it's like saying Usain Bolt is faster than me because he tries harder.
