Boo Carter never backed away at all. That's why there was some concern that he might follow Seaton to Colorado.

That "burned bridges" line is overused I think. Seaton was never publicly critical of Tennessee or Tennessee's staff.

That’s not what that says. It’s specifically about Maryland. Doesn’t mean other teams are not in on it.

That would at least be consistent with Seaton's stated "look like me" criteria.

Yeah .... he's not signing with Tennessee. Would be nice to see him sign with Maryland, though. Deflate that Coach Prime ego a little more.

For the record, Colorado's Class of 2024 is down to just 6 signees/commitments. They are currently #95 on 247's Class of 2024 Football Recruiting Team Rankings. Seaton's "if you wanna be a dog, why not come play for someone who look like you," sales pitch didn't seem to catch on.

I realize that Deion is emphasizing the portal, but only signing 6 players out of high school in the early signing period would be crazy. He has no clue how to run a college football program.

I doubt he’s coming to Tennessee at this point but I’d love to see him commit to Maryland after all the Colorado hype and nuisance we’ve been subjected to since he and kam mikell committed. Outside shot we get him crazier things have happened though and I’d gladly take the commitment. When we were in the final days looking like it was us VS OSU I donated $50 extra to spyre as a one time donation just because I wanted him and a top 5-10 class pretty bad.
