Of the five offensive linemen that signed from the 2021 class, only two remain: Masai Reddick and Brian Grant. I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if one or both of those hit the portal. Hypothetically if both do leave, going 0/5 in an offensive line class is disastrous. You can survive it if you play your cards very well in the portal, but it is disappointing to have a class pan out as poorly as that one has.

I do think Ellarbee is a good coach. He’s gotten a lot out of his starting offensive linemen since he got here. Just think his evals in that 2021 class were bad. Granted, he had to take mostly backup plans because of the NCAA cloud hanging over us at that time. I’m not worried yet by any means, but we just can’t strike out like that in our offensive line classes anymore. That 2021 class has to be an anomaly.

You’re talking 2022** class. There’s hardly anyone left on the team from the 2021 class. In the 2021 class, after a month on the job, they brought in Crawford and he’s been 20% of our offensive line starts for 2 years now. And concerning the 2022 class, Mincey has been the same type of impact as Crawford.

Yeah man depth is an issue, and as some stated, the staff knows that. Is there something wrong with the starters we have currently in Mincey/crawford, Sprag, Campbell, Mays? Biggest thing we need is another guard. Addison was supposed to be the guy, and someone with offers from literally all the top schools SHOULD have been that guy.

I don't think any has publicly said anything but the rumor is all 4 appears to be coming back. Obviously it could change at any time.

With Coop and Spraggs not going through senior day it bodes well for us.
