Sure, but they will/do downgrade a team when said team loses a significant contributor.

A #1 seed gets downgraded to a #3 seed, or a team on the bubble gets downgraded out of the tournament.

FSU was on the bubble.

If you are defending Bama getting in over FSU, why don’t you just hop in the SEC themed orgy with Sankey, Saban and Finebaum? Maybe one of you can wear the spike collar or chaps.

You can hate UGA and Bama (and cheer for them to be shut out for the lulz) while also acknowledging that they were clearly the two best teams this weekend. Those ideas aren't mutually exclusive.

Last point I’ll make - let’s go back in time a few years. What if Ohio State was never given the chance down to their 3rd string QB (Cardale Jones) who was completely unproven at the time? One less Natty for them. They earned the right based on their body of work, just like FSU. Not some prognostication of how they may fare without their starting QB.

You do realize they beat Wisconsin 55-0 in their championship game with that 3rd qb, right? He was hardly unproven when the committee selected them.

Based off what? Their 13-0 conference champ? Maybe it was their elite front with a top 10 defense? Or maybe it was having one of the top RB’s and WR cores in CFB. Yea they suck
