Maybe so, but the 12-team playoffs will be used as a marker showing your program and recruits that you're near the top and are able to play for it all.

Same as the 4 team playoff exploded recruiting for all those teams and teams left out suffered.

Really?...that depends on circumstances doesn’t it? If the SEC gets 2 teams in with a loss and another in with 2 losses...that fight for the last spot will be extremely subjective...and the SEC and CFB in general ALWAYS f***s us over when it's subjective.

You're mostly right, I agree it will be more fair, but getting through the SEC with just 2 losses is going to be brutal and I don't trust voters to rank us where we deserve....case in point...right now.

If Tennessee shows up, I think they will beat the brakes off Iowa. Iowa could not handle Butch Jones speed and they won’t be able to contain Heupel’s offense. Iowa’s offense is shambles and can’t score on anyone.

I won’t be surprised to hear rumblings of this conference in disarray. FSU and Clemson need to get out, especially after the snub today.

How is it the ACC's fault? The committee made this decision, mostly made up of non-ACC ADs, retired HCs, and professors.

They went out of league and whipped both LSU and UF. This is 100% on a dozen-or-so idiots. There should be empowerment for the ACC, not a ruination. **** Sankey. **** the SEC.
