If FSU goes to the Orange bowl and beats Georgia, they very well may be a legitimate national champion in one of the other polls.

I doubt that would happen, but If I were them I’d claim a share anyway. Why not? Bama did it for decades.

With the conference champ still getting an automatic spot in the 12? Don't see it. Clemson and Miami also. The mega conferences are making it tougher for theirs. ACC is still the easiest path depending on the Big 12's role.

Ohio St lost their 1st and 2nd string QB in 2014 and still made the playoff. So to answer your question, I doubt it lol

They beat Wisconsin 59-0 in the BIG 10 title game. With their 3rd string QB going 12-17 for 257 and 3 TDs / 0 int.

Had that Fr QB from TN balled out and FSU whooped that azz last night like 42-10 or something then FSU is in.

So really depends on how Bama would’ve looked without Milroe at the end if he would’ve gotten hurt.

So, Bama lost to Texas at the beginning of the year, and it took a hail mary/Hugh freeze brain fart to beat Auburn. Texas lost to Oklahoma who shat the bed against other teams. What makes them better then Georgia who only lost by three points? FSU has not lost at all and beat a higher ranked team then Texas and Michigan did yesterday. Michigan is a cheater. Washington is only one who truly deserves to be on the list with no controversy.

This. The Noles D is LEGIT. Even a decent Rodemaker def gives them a punchers chance in the semis which is what they deserved for their accomplishments.

It would affect ACC/FSU bowl payouts. ACC wouldn't allow it. Probably some contractual verbiage in conference membership agreements.

Screw the ACC............Boycott it. Go independent....get Saudi money and stick it up the arse of the establishment.....
