I am absolutely enraged that we had Tennessee fans rooting for Alabama yesterday. I cannot believe that would ever be the case with any Tennessee fan that isn’t living in Georgia. And you got what you wanted.

Rooted for UGA primarily for the encore of Saban begging for a spot in the playoffs with TWO LOSSES. Kirby tears over "four best teams" is a helluva consolation prize.

Well...how long until Florida State jumps ship from the ACC.

With the conference champ still getting an automatic spot in the 12? Don't see it. Clemson and Miami also. The mega conferences are making it tougher for theirs. ACC is still the easiest path depending on the Big 12's role.

I think this would be a great strategy for FSU. I mean, screw it - end on a high note of 13-0, conference champs! Why would they even care about some consolation bowl after that screw job. Can you imagine the media following that would generate to have a major conf champ boycotting their bowl game?!

That's not how it works. It's a matter of how strong the team/roster is NOW, at the time of raking for the playoff. It's a question of "who are the best teams to play one another now"?

Big 10 and SEC rule the sport. The commissioners should just meet before season and decide the teams they feel deserve to play for title. Skip the perception of fairness all together.
