I heard Ainge talking about when he was playing and how the commentators would show up a day or two before the game. They would get to know a few key players, attend some meetings and basically look for some anecdote to talk about on game day.


When the CBS crew came he said everyone loved Verne. He said Verne was jovial and personable.
