I want teams there that deserve it. Just like we should have been the 5 seed last year having beaten Bama one field. If you can’t go by the results on the field, then it’s time to quit. That’s the point of it all.

I don’t care about Bama or UGA, so both being out help us.

There have to be facts that support a good argument. Facts in football are the results on the field- not what we feel.

Sports are a meritocracy, agree.

Why were we not a 5 seed? Because Hendo was hurt. Comittee knew we weren’t at full strength. Just like a QB1-less Florida State… they are not better than the SEC champion.

*Current* College football playoffs is a different, weird animal than other tournament sports. Committee has liberties. 12-team will change it.

Alabama is one of the best teams right now. Hate it.

That coaching search is going to be interesting. MTSU has talked to Banks where where is MTSU's budget. They are paying Rick Stockstill around 5 million to go away.

They were paying him 800k a year. Banks makes 1.5 million a year. I don't think MTSU can get to that salary so if they offered it to Banks how big of a pay cut is he willing to take.

They beat an overrated Oregon team twice and struggled in several games against not great competition.

Theyre going to get overwhelmed by Michigan and either SEC team they play.
