Not really a fair comparison. Army would never operate that way independent of the Air Force, and in concert with the AF, would be quite a handful. With that said, HIMARS has a 50 mile range, which I think is outside the range of big Navy guns, and Army ADA might have an opinion about how well Navy air power would operate on their turf. Given that Army can choose where inland they wish to operate, I'm not so sure it would be the slaughter you think.Love the exercise, and want to engage.
But…. If you sent the US Army (by itself) against the US Navy - it would be an absolute slaughter.
The Army has no air power, no long range strike, no deterrence. It would be over fast.
That said, Army Rangers vs Marine Raiders out there would be cool. Or maybe Devgru vs Delta - in the dark, with night vision.
That reminds me of the Arkansas basketball hire a while back. They hired the coach from Creighton and at his press conference they wanted him to put on the hog hat and say sooooie pig--over and over. He wouldn't do it and went back to CreightonI can't understand a word they are saying, but the main take away is that (1) its an A&M event and (2) any A&M is always going to be cringy.
Nothing like seeing grown adults singing at the top of their lungs and swaying back and forth in the most awkward way. I am so thankful I didn't go to that school.
You, @Orange_Crush, me, and at least a dozen others...I'm pretty sure I was told I'm a conspiracy theorists for acknowledging this during the season
