Gonna throw Herring out there again at LB next year?

-AP
He's not a LB. He's a D-lineman playing LB.You could tell it in the first game he played. He has no LB instincts and insufficient quickness for the position. He needs to add bulk and move to the line or transfer.

Playing guys out of position that many snaps when you have better options on the bench identifies a problem that needs addressed in the offseason. There were better options. Maybe the DC and LB coaches are not good talent evaluators or there was a side deal with the Herring brothers. Maybe it was something else. Regardless, it needs fixed to win at a high level.

Hasn’t he been here two years? I know MLB has learning curves, but looking completely lost in two years is not a good sign. Mistakes happen, but he doesn’t do much on the field.
some guys develop by year two….. some guys take a little longer….. It’s a big summer in his development.

You can appreciate, but here are several rules.

1- window shop, only

2- use your peripherals

3- keep it to yourself. bro code.

4- always remember the stupid **** they talked about when you were twenty, and how self centered those idiots were.

5- rules 1-4
You left out the most important rule:

Somewhere out there, there is a Dad who will kill you just for thinking about that. Oh, and he can read your mind.

Dad of a beautiful daughter here. Been willing to kill for her the moment I saw her. 😊

I prefer to use my bare hands. If a gun comes out its because I didnt stop 😬😁

People on here said the same thing about AJ Johnson his first couple years. He was fantastic as a senior. Still hanging on an NFL roster IIRC.

Some of you all too quick to fire a young guy.

One more thing on penalties. There are conference top performers that were penalized a lot. Washington is most penalized in the PAC. Oregon is also. Florida State is called for a lot of penalties. This reminds me of what someone said earlier this year. The officials are out of shape and trying to slow down fast offenses. They cannot keep up and start throwing the flag on fast teams. Explains why Ole Miss was second most penalized in the SEC. Oklahoma is most penalized in the Big 12.
I don't think that's what is happening. BUT.....If it is and they can't keep up, then get better conditioned/ younger referees. College football is a multimillion dollar "business". Having compentent officials, should not be an issue, unless they want it to be.

(Ole Miss challenging Alabama for the SEC west is why they were 2nd most penalized.)

Johnson always had good instincts which made up for his lack of speed. Herring lacks the instincts and speed.

That Eric Cain is full of crap man. He talks about Bird Dogs pants and I couldn’t peel them over my quads with a crowbar when I tried.

He’sa former college athlete. Tattoos would go on looser than Bird Dog pants for him 😂
often times the linneal male does things without consideration for others. wearing skinny jeans/and the ilk handlebar moosetaches, dangling earrings, carrying man purses, and all other things like that.

@nicksjuzunk i'm happy you get to still refer to them as 'quads'. at some point they will just be referred to as 'that part of my legs that needs work.'
