Regardless, our guy gave a fair catch signal (not that one by Dee), so that was indeed the correct call. Hard to use a correctly called play as criticism of officials. There were SO MANY incorrectly called plays in that game that deserve criticism, this is a weird one to fixate on.

Worst take ever. When have you ever seen a front row guy get acknowledged for a fair catch? We all saw the waving on ball direction, but nobody fathomed that to be a front row fair catch, nobody including the on field officials. Dramatically game changing call and absolutely nothing legitimate about it. I have never bought into conspiracy until this travesty.
