We got to the game early enough to go to the Vol Walk. We were in no rush to leave after the game so it wasn’t bad either way…(I am used to trying to leave Rangers, Mavericks and Cowboys games where the traffic flow is abysmal).

I got got by 4.5 spreads in basketball twice on decent parlays. TWICE. Same worthless, late three did me in.

Sampson would be odd considering he’d be the lead back next year, Webb has played a decent amount and would be in line for a bigger roll next year, same for Thomas but that’s no guarantee so I could see him moving on. Agreed with Perry, any of the O-lineman. Christian Harrison is probably gone and for some reason I think Tyre West may be gone.

Losing Tyre would suck.

I’m about to start back up on prop bets on NBA games. Made a good bit there last year. Guy on Twitter named Prop Bomb does some really good work finding strong ones. I tailed him quite a few times last year.

I’m not gonna fight with Pate about who threw the bigger fit over an awful coaching hire, but it’s pretty obvious we threw the bigger fit.

Edit: and it may just be because ours happened in the middle of the day and our administration seemed significantly less willing to cave.

Pate is in the business. It's not a story to say "this revolt pales in comparison to the example that TN set."

Just as the present game is always the biggest game for the team, in the biz the present news is always the biggest news. No big deal.

Thank you very much for posting. I miss that guy.....such an amazing human being and a true legend. I remember being amazed at the crazy Aussie when the show first came on in my early teens. It's great to see his family carrying the torch and his kids nearly grown and continuing his legacy. Spect given to that family.

1) Michigan - undefeated champion
2) Washington - undefeated champion
3) FSU - undefeated champion

Texas - 1 loss champion
Bama - 1 loss champion

You think Bama is jumping an undefeated FSU even without their QB? Or are they jumping the team that has the same record that they lost to earlier in the year?


Texas and FSU hold the slight edge over Bama in a lot of FPI and SP+ metrics. Strength of Record, Strength of Schedule, Efficiencies, etc. Bama is 3rd behind those two in all.

Its a weird year. Personally, because of the above, UGA is winning the SEC. Sankey ain’t about to have a situation where there’s even a chance an SEC team gets left out.

I would add two points:

Texas beat Bama head to head in Tuscaloosa. This is a strong edge that should not be allowed to be overturned by politicking.

Bama's record was illegally falsified by Birmingham officiating, which amounts to Birmingham's own admission that Bama is not a playoff-worthy team.
