I really don’t believe Washington is good. Using the logic from last weeks committee, shouldn’t FSU jump them for 4th this week. FSU won in a hostile environment by 9 and should’ve been more if not for Florida’s first gifted TD and then taking a knee on final play.

I'm not one in the corner of thinking this is a positive offer. But having read GFW's analysis I do feel better about it. Perhaps this isnt a fallback offer.

I don’t think it’s a fallback. I’m not even convinced he’s a CB offer. I like getting CBs and turning them into safeties if they have the size.

Their schedule is so difficult next year, I would keep Napier and just let him fail and then move on after that.

I’m totally speculating but I think this is the plan. Keep Napier, try to hold that recruiting class together, and just weather the storm of next season’s brutal schedule. If he drops a bunch of games next year they fire him early. If he wasn’t recruiting so well he’d be fired sometime today. Could still happen I guess.
